My name is Russ Payne and I am a Peripatetic Guitar teacher serving the South Oxfordshire area since 2004. I teach learners from Year 3 to Year 12 at their school. My aim is to support your child’s creativity and love of music and playing through quality of teaching.
I have a music degree in composition and guitar and have been teaching guitar for over 20 years. I love to see progress in my students and guitar grades is something many naturally gravitate towards but is not essential as many enjoying playing for wellbeing, fun and as a hobby. I am very experienced guitar teacher and teach up to Grade 8 guitar. Several of my students have gone on to study music and play guitar at Level 3 and gone on to study music at degree level.

Lesson are pre-paid for and you sign up for 10 at a time. It works on the basis of there being three terms in the academic year September to Christmas, January to easter and the summer term.
